Rock Band is awesome even if we did have to truncate our band’s name to “We Fucking Go 2 School Here,” but the price is definitely an issue.
We met my mom for dinner last night and had this conversation:
Mom: I know you guys are always playing games. What are you playing now?
Me: Rock Band.
Mom: How much do games cost now, anyway?
Me: Well, Rock Band is different. It’s not just a game — you also get a fake guitar, fake drums, and a microphone.
Mom: And . . .?
Me: $170.
Mom: My . . . my heart.
