I used to count Ultimate Alliance in that category, but now that I'm going through trying to pick up certain achievements, not so much.

When all else fails, there's Peggle, or NCAA Football 08

My comfort game is Call of Duty 4...which is strange because there's probably no game which makes me go all apecrazy more! But, since its fairly easy to play, and so familiar, I always meander back to its soothing streams (of bullets) for comfort when I'm down or just bored with my other games.
