The Bioshock Vacation
Well almost. Jules’ Undersea Lodge doesn’t have Rapture’s artistic design, but it hasn’t been taken over by slicers either. This authentic underwater research habitat seems like a great getaway for scuba enthusiasts or just nice place to curl up and read Atlas Shrugged.
The Middle-earth Vacation
If you’re going to New Zealand, why not stay in The Hobbit Motel. Part of the Woodlyn Park in Waitomo, NZ, The Hobbit Motel has comfy Hobbit holes with private bathrooms and kitchens – although cooking with a stove isn’t the most authentic way to go.
The Ice World Vacation
Rebuilt every winter, the ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärvi, Sweden feels like something pulled from E.D.N. III. With temperatures never colder that 23 Fahrenheit (-5 Celsius), the ICEHOTEL is the perfect place to explore the Arctic before settling in for the night on a bed consisting of an ice block and a reindeer skin covered mattress.
The Lava Level Vacation
Who wouldn’t want to vacation near active volcanoes? Hawaii’s Volcano House is nestled on the edge of Kilauea Crater and is the perfect place to hike along craters or watch the soothing flow of lava. Room pricing is based on crater view or non-crater view and the hotel has only burned down once (in 1940 from an accident, not a volcano).
The Jungle Vacation
Where does Pitfall Harry stay when he’s tired of leaping over scorpions? Maybe at The Tree House. Located in Costa Rica, The Tree House offers a perfect jungle getaway: scenic views, luxurious accommodations, and air conditioning. More importantly, every bed comes with a mosquito net.
And speaking of vacations, Game Couch is on one. See you in a bit!

If I don’t find the time to start BioShock soon, I think I may go crazy.
Have a great vacation. :)
