Just realized that I did a geeky thing yesterday while playing Ninja Gaiden II. Chatting with a friend through chat on 360 while he was playing Ninja gaiden II as well….I still have to relay the information to him when he got stuck on a certain area eventhough he has the guide in front of him since he was tired of pausing the game. So, I have to pause mine and read the tips to him.

-Played Dragon Ball Z game for Xbox360 while the show is on another TV and the MP3 collection I have on my PC is playing as well….

-Played Street Fighter Turbo for SNES and beat Chun Li’s mission and got to the ending of it and did the swallow kick and almost kicked the TV off the ground.

I imported Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for Sega Saturn because I heard it had a bonus level not found on the PSX version and then found a webpage that translated the japanese menus and wrote them all out so I could play.

- “Played” the original Metroid and Legend of Zelda as “navigator” (with maps) for my friend who did all the actual, you know, playing

- Completed Rock Band endless set list

- Owned original Game Boy

- Worked all summer to have enough $ to buy SNES

- Installed X-Plane

- Played hours and hours of Quake 3 Freeze Tag mod

- Played Counterstrike during lunch at a job where I had to where a tie

*made a Master Chief helmet cake (with pink frosting none the less)

*dyed my hair blue to honor Cortana for the release of Halo 3

*wrote Halo-themed pick-up lines

*wrote Halo-themed break-up lines

*wrote more Halo-themed pick-up lines

*had someone draw me on a Etch-A-Sketch posing as Cortana

Completed the Endless Setlist in Rock Band.

Made a Katamari shaped birthday cake.

Did DDR in public.

Bought a Mario Mushroom shaped candy tin and was’t sad even though the candy tasted like ass.

Did a dance when I found out Pit was going to be in Smash Bros Brawl.

Some of my proudest moments from childhood include beating Kid Icarus, Legend of Zelda, and Metroid.

I typed up a lengthy letter to Konami about how much I love the Castlevania series and requested that they bring out Dracula X: Rondo of Blood to the US about 4 or 5 years ago. I didn’t email it; I sent it by snail mail. Never got a response, but they did release a version of it on PSP last year. A shame I don’t have a PSP.

I also played World of Warcraft. A lot. Not too uncommon or nerdy, I know, but I can safely say that I’ve not played any game in my entire life as much as WoW. I can look at my first character, type /played and see I’ve spent over 30 days of gameplay time as that character alone.

I printed out the lists of bugs and fish from Animal Crossing: Wild World for the DS. Every time I donate one to the museum I check it off the list!

I got teary-eyed at the end of Oblivion.
