First of all, I was shocked at the quality of trailers they premiered during the recent video game awards show. The only one that even began to pique my interest was Dante's Inferno and you couldn't even tell what sort of game it was. Out of all your points, the first one strikes a chord with me the most. There were a lot of sequels (or beyond) that came out this year that I would label as expansions instead of a full retail title. Quite annoying to pay $60 for pretty much the same game you played last time. I’m in agreement with everything you said.
