Here’s a worthy cause:
Natali (@UberDorkGirlie) is raising money to open a geekcafe in Milwaukee, WI. Now most of my readers probably don’t live in Milwaukee, WI, but supporting UberDork Café supports the larger geek community.
In her words, “UberDork Café is Art + Science= Geek in a family-friendly environment that supports local vendors and artists, the earth and gives back to the community not only by providing a safe place for youth to play and learn, but also in financially assisting future Art + Science= Geeks.”
At this point, Natali isn’t looking for cash, she’s looking for pledges. If pledges reach $5000 by Friday, August 13th then this dream can become a reality.
